A few years ago I wrote an article listing 125 things I had learned while working in game development. I’ve dealt with our game being a failure and the subsequent closing down of our studio. It’s been a few years so I learned a lot more.

With 38 I mean that you can have these core ideas and ideals about what your game needs to be, but if evidence is presented that those are choices that are not supported by your target audience or even unwanted, you will hurt the prospect of your game being successful ...
